It is impossible to measure any growth in prices on the coast and in the ski resorts of Bulgaria as much of the property sold was overpriced and today prices can be even lower than those 2 years ago.

In Sofia growth has occurred in spurts. Price growth was quite high in Sofia until around 2004, then the city when through a quiet period then after EU membership the market regained confidence and prices have started to rise rapidly. Official figures show some quarters exceeding 10% growth.
