The rental markets on the coast and in the ski resorts are very oversupplied with property and thus rental income can be very patchy indeed.

In the cities, such as Sofia, the rental market is still developing. Yields can vary widely, hence it is important to choose the right property. Yields typically have been strong at the higher end of the market but these are now falling a little.

We expect the rental market in Sofia to develop considerably over the coming years as there is a flood of workers arriving in Sofia all of whom will need a place to live.
