"New lively area"
The first part of the Western zone is expected to be completed in 2012.
"Building of three administrative objects is going to kick off a complex transformation of the whole area. One hundred and fifty hectares of undeveloped areas will be replaced by lively residential and administrative quarter for as much as 35 thousand people," said Petr Šimon from Skanska CZ, a company that won the contract for the first phase of the new quarter project.
It will be Siemens company that is to move to the new administrative building as the first dweller.
British quarter
The entire Western city will be constructed in several phases.
In addition to building administrative administrative centers, every year Finep company plans to offer a new residential zone. Altogether, roughly ten thousand flats are expected to emerge.
The first residential area called "British quarter" is to be launched this year.
