Wroclaw is yet another Polish city driven by its strong inflows of FDI and growing economy.
Wroclaw’s geographical position in the south-west of Poland close to both the Czech and German border has made it a key distribution hub.
Although the city has a natural positional advantage, the local government has not been complacent and has made huge strides to attract investment to the city.
Special economic zones have been set up around the city, with benefits such as cheap land and low taxes, has helped to attract many international warehouse and manufacturing companies to the area. This process has been aided by a special department specifically created to help foreign investors.
The centre of the city goes a long way to rival the beauty of its more famous neighbour, Krakow, and is said to be a pleasant place to live with the mountains within striking distance at the weekends.
Due to such positive economic fundamentals property price growth in Wroclaw has been similarly outstanding to the rest of the country, only just lagging the growth of Warsaw and Krakow.
Wroclaw has long had a healthy rental sector, which has been further deepened by the influx of both foreign and local workers in search of the new jobs.
Due to such strong price growth certain districts of the Wroclaw are a little over-priced. Though given the excellent economic fundamentals and developed rental market Wroclaw is a city that should not be overlooked as a property investment location.
